Lana Del Rey dropped news of a new project this weekend, taking to Twitter to announce her role in an upcoming short film. After posting an image of artwork promoting the film, Del Rey wrote a message teasing some vague details: “TROPICO – a 30 minute film coming to a city near your. Premier dates coming soon. Lots of Love, Lana Del Rey.”

According to the poster, the film is a “tale of redemption told to the music of Body Electric God’s and Monster’s Bel Air.” “Gods & Monsters,” “Body Electric” and “Bel Air” are all tracks from Del Rey’s 2012 album, Paradise.” Del Rey and model Shaun Ross (who was featured in the video for Beyoncé’s “Party”) star in the film and Rick Rubin is listed as one of the film’s producers.

Random Notes: Hottest Rock Pictures

Del Rey isn’t a total stranger to the cinematic arts: Her video for “Ride” stretched over ten minutes, and featured a lengthy spoken prologue. Anthony Mandler, who directed that video along with the “National Anthem” clip, is listed as the director of Tropico.
