Lady Gaga’s Manager Calls Her a ‘200-Pound Toddler’

During a recent keynote speaking engagement at the Music Matters conference in Singapore, Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter had some heavy words for his star singer, calling her a “200-pound toddler.” When asked whether his client had “made it” yet in the music business, Carter simply answered “no” before making the child-like comparison.
Carter also shared his views on Gaga’s canceled show in Indonesia, which was pulled after threats of protest. “It’s less about Gaga than it really is what’s happening in the world right now as a whole,” he said. “This is a microcosm. It’s a generational divide. Jesus Christ got crucified. It happens.”
Despite the protests, Carter maintained that Lady Gaga enjoyed her tour in Asia and said she plans to consistently tour through next spring. Gaga is currently on her Born This Way Ball tour; earlier this month, the singer revealed that she has already played her new album for her record label and plans to announce its title in September.
