Lady Gaga‘s Artpop has arrived in all its outrageous, synth-drenched, glittery glory: the album is streaming in full on iTunes Radio, a week ahead of its official November 11th release.

Since releasing the first single, “Applause,” in August, Gaga has released a handful of additional tracks, including “Venus,” “Dope” – which she gave a tearful performance of at the inaugural YouTube Music Awards – and the record’s official second single, “Do What U Want,” which features a guest spot from R. Kelly.

‘Artpop’ and 25 More Must-Hear Albums This Fall

In a recent Q&A on Twitter, Gaga described the album as an eclectic mix of ballads, electronic music, funky mid-temop tunes, plus “a space rock electronica explosion of beats.” Gaga spoke too about the current of joy and adrenaline that runs through the record, and also mentioned that she and members of her TechHaus (some of whom are rocket engineers) have come up with some wild new invention called a Volantis that will be revealed in the coming months.

Of the meaning behind the album’s title, Gaga said: “It is an exchange between [two] artists, one from the sphere of pop, the other of art, that results in a true meeting of the minds.”

Capping off the Artpop campaign, Gaga recently announced that she would be doing double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on November 16th, the weekend after the album’s release. But amid the Artpop fervor, news broke that Gaga and her manager Troy Carter had split over “creative differences.” The two began working together in 2007, achieving stunning success as Gaga became one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
