Lady Gaga Postpones Four Concerts Due to Injury

Lady Gaga announced today that she is postponing four concerts on her current tour due to synovitis, or severe inflammation of the joints. The pop star plans to reschedule her shows at Chicago’s United Center, previously set for this Wednesday and Thursday, as well as upcoming shows in Detroit and Hamilton, Ontario.
“I am completely devastated and heartsick,” Gaga said on Twitter. “I’ve been hiding this injury and pain from my staff for a month, praying it would heal, but after last night’s performance I could not walk. To the fans in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, I hope you can forgive me as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself right no.”
Added the singer, “It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I’m sorry.”
Fans are advised on her site to hold onto tickets, as the events will be rescheduled.
