Korn Stage a Gruesome Show in ‘Love and Meth’ – Premiere

Korn just released their eleventh studio album, The Paradigm Shift, and it’s a predictably bombastic effort. It follows 2011’s dubstep-friendly The Path of Totality and also marks the group’s first album with original guitarist Brian “Head” Welch since 2003’s Take a Look in the Mirror.

Here, you can take an exclusive first look at the video for the album cut “Love and Meth.” The dark, gruesome clip finds Korn strung up like marionettes and performing the song for a maniacal conductor whose body is slowly ravaged, contorted and destroyed, ostensibly by the song’s titular drug.

“‘Love and Meth’ was originally created on GarageBand from an idea I had,” Welch tells Rolling Stone. “I brought it into the studio and Korn reshaped and added to it. It’s one of my favorite songs on the album – the vocals and melody are at a great level.”
