Korn Rip Through ‘Never Never’ for ‘Guitar Center Sessions’ – Premiere
Korn are kicking off the seventh season of the Guitar Center Sessions with a blistering live rendition of “Never Never,” a cut off their recently-released 11th studio album, The Paradigm Shift. Backlit with stage lights and walls of guitars, the nu-metal legends headbang through heavy riffs as singer Jonathan Davis wails into his signature surrealist mic stand.
Behind the Scenes of Korn’s ‘Love & Meth’ Video
“After watching Korn’s episode and seeing how vulnerable and honest they were during their interview with [show host] Nic [Harcourt], like them or not, it’s impossible to not respect what they’ve accomplished,” says Dustin Hinz, director of music and entertainment marketing at Guitar Center. “Having artists perform in a space as intimate as our Vintage Room showcases the caliber of musicianship these bands possess, which is what Guitar Center Sessions is about – sharing incredible performances and engaging stories.”
For this season of Guitar Center Sessions, Korn will be joined by a stacked lineup including Gary Clark Jr., Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Gavin DeGraw and Lissie. Each episode features an exclusive live performance from the band and an interview with Harcourt at Hollywood’s Guitar Center.
Check out Korn’s performance and other episodes of Guitar Center Sessions on Friday, November 1st, at 9 p.m. EST on DirecTV’s Audience Network (channel 239).
