Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris Recruited for Halloween Gigs in Bermuda Triangle

This Halloween, Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris will stage a concert in what’s considered one of the most mysterious places on the planet: the Bermuda Triangle. Bacardi, who are hosting the October 30 to November 2 event, will rent out a private island in the Caribbean Sea and charter three jets from three cities (New York, Los Angeles and London) to fly contest winners to see the trio perform. Only 1,862 lucky winners will be selected to attend the Halloween weekend fest, since the Bacardi Rum Company was established in 1862, Pitchfork writes.
In case you were worried that this was some sort of Naked and Afraid situation but with really good music, the rum company adds that the Bacardi Triangle event will take place on the tropical island of Palomino, off the coast of Puerto Rico. Bacardi will take over the island and “a neighboring 5-star resort” for the weekend, ensuring contest winners don’t have to build their own shelter. Check out the Bacardi Triangle site for contest info and how to enter.
In addition to performing in the Bermuda Triangle on Halloween, Lamar is also reportedly hard at work on the follow-up to his breakthrough major label debut LP good kid, m.A.A.d city. Recently, the Compton rapper hopped on Flying Lotus’ “Never Catch Me,” which will appear on FlyLo’s October 7th album You’re Dead.
As for Calvin Harris, the multi-talented producer just unveiled the music video for his single “Blame” featuring crooner John Newman. Check that out below:
