Kanye West Releases Flashy Video for ‘All Of The Lights’

On Saturday, Kanye West finally released his video for “All Of The Lights.” Directed by Hype Williams, the video follows the story of the song – spousal abuse, pleas for forgiveness and the dangers of growing up in a “ghetto university.” A barely dressed Rihanna makes an appearance, as does Kid Cudi.
West and Williams have already been accused of ripping off the obscure 2009 French movie Enter The Void. The opening credit sequences in both films are nearly identical, with a flashing light effect that many think is too similar to be a coincidence. West has yet to respond to the allegations – though it may well be merely an homage to the film rather than a creative theft.
West has no announced American tour dates other than Coachella in April, but it seems likely that he’ll hit the road at some point in the near future. Last month he Tweeted about his Coachella setlist. “POWER RUNAWAY HELLOFALIFE MONSTER JESUSWALKS FLASHING LIGHTS CANTTELLMENOTHING HAM … I’m just thinking of my Coachella set list rt now,” he wrote. “ALLOFTHELIGHTS HEARTLESS LOVELOCKEDDOWN DIAMONDS GOLDDIGGER TOUCHTHESKY GOODLIFE STRONGER DARKFANTASY LOSTINAWORLD THROUGHTHEWIRE … BLAMEGAME?
