Justin Timberlake will be releasing a new song this week. The singer announced on Twitter that the tune will be released on Friday.

“#CantStopTheFeeling” he tweeted in response to a fan’s request for the name of the song. “Two more days,” Timberlake added to announce the timing.

As far as the direction of the new music, he’s been tight lipped, though he recently shared a photo on Instagram showing him in the studio with Pharrell Williams. He also retweeted KISS FM, who wrote “I just heard the new @justintimberlake song!!! OMG! SMASH!!!,” which may indicate a pop direction. However, he’s made some country turns singing duets with Chris Stapleton during the 2015 CMA Awards and more recently he collaborated with Little Big Town. “NBD… Just wiring with @littlebigtown,” he wrote on Instagram, including a selfie with the group’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman. “This band is truth!! So Good!!!!”

The singer has been busy working on other projects outside his solo work as well. He was tapped to pen and perform new songs for the forthcoming animated film, Trolls, for which he will additionally voice the character Branch. The film is scheduled to open on November 4th. Last month, he presented the Best Tour gong to Taylor Swift during the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards and after Prince passed away, Timberlake penned a heartfelt tribute.

“Can’t Stop This Feeling” will be the first new solo song he’s dropped since he released his two-part album, The 20/20 Experience in 2013. No word yet on if the new song is indication that a new album is imminent.
