Justin Bieber Runs Live Video Stream Against the Grammys

Justin Bieber may have been snubbed by the Grammys, but he seems determined to command an audience tonight in any case. A few hours before his hosting-musical-guest Saturday Night Live episode aired last night, Bieber announced on Twitter that he would be doing an hour-long live video stream at 8 E.T. – just as the Grammys broadcast kicks off.
“I’m gonna play some new music and answer questions send this to ur friend :)” he wrote.
After the Grammy nominations were announced in December, Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, vented his dismay over the singer’s absence on the list on Twitter: “I just plain DISAGREE. The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one,” Braun wrote.
Yet despite the teen star’s exclusion from the Recording Academy festivities, he’s had a pretty full week. In addition to his stint carrying Saturday Night Live, Bieber just scored his fifth Number One album with Believe Acoustic.
