Justin Bieber, Jack U Transform ‘Where Are U Now’ at Grammys

Justin Bieber performed “Love Yourself” before being joined by EDM superduo Jack Ü — comprised of Skrillex and Diplo — for a joint performance of their hit “Where Are Ü Now.” It is the first time Skrillex and Diplo have joined Bieber for an award show performance of the track.
After a solo, acoustic version of the Ed Sheeran-penned “Love Yourself,” Skrillex, Diplo and a full band joined Bieber onstage for their smash dance single. Skrillex played guitar while Diplo went from behind the boards to the drums for a raucous, heavy take on the EDM track. Jon Theodore of Mars Volta and Queens of the Stone Age also joined in on drums.
“Where Are Ü Now” won Best Dance Recording, making it Bieber’s first Grammy win, while Jack Ü picked up the trophy for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Since 2012, Skrillex has won eight Grammy awards, while Diplo now has two.

Bieber released his fourth studio album, Purpose, in November. The three singles off the album — “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry” and “Love Yourself” — have all hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100. This spring, he’ll launch his Purpose world tour, which will have him traveling across North America and Europe from March through November of this year.
