Justin Bieber Cancels German TV Gig After Stunt Goes Awry

Justin Bieber was forced to cancel an appearance on one of Germany’s most popular TV shows after the broadcast was cut short due to a stunt that went horribly wrong.
Saturday’s live broadcast of the game show Wetten Dass was canceled when 23-year-old Samuel Koch was severely injured after he attempted to jump over a moving car while wearing shoes equipped with a suspension system.

“Just want to let my people in Germany know I won’t be on Wetten Dass tonight as an accident has taken place and we all don’t think it is right to continue,” the teen wrote Saturday. “Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety. I’m sorry we couldn’t perform tonight but some things are more important than putting on a show.”
German news agency DPAD reports that while Koch suffered multiple back injuries and fractures and underwent surgery Sunday, his condition is no longer life threatening.
