Josh Homme Joins Arctic Monkeys Onstage
Arctic Monkeys surprised fans earlier this week by bringing out Josh Homme at their show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. The Queens of the Stone Age leader suddenly appeared alongside Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner as the British rockers closed their set with AM track “Knee Socks.” About halfway through the song, the lights dimmed, and Homme emerged to take the mic beside Turner to add another brooding layer to the track.

Homme’s visit shouldn’t be too unexpected: he appears on the album version of “Knee Socks,” as well as the AM cut “One for the Road.” Turner also helped out Homme recently, singing on Queens of the Stone Age’s latest album, . . . Like Clockwork.
