JJAMZ ‘Never Enough’
“Never Enough” is the first single from JJAMZ, a collective of Los Angeles musicians featuring Jason Boesel of Rilo Kiley and Bright Eyes, Alex Greenwald of Phantom Planet, James Valentine of Maroon 5, Z Berg of the Like and solo artist Michael Runion.
“‘Never Enough’ is a song about friendship, sisterhood, and the perils of loving someone that takes more than they could ever give,” says Runion. “We set out to make a video that captured the complexities of such a relationship, but hoped to create something more than your typical performance-heavy affair. Something character driven, more reliant on mood, tone and atmosphere than our band playing along to a track in a rented room. That task would have been more daunting had it not been for the monumental efforts of two amazing artists in actress Brie Larson and director Eddie O’Keefe. They’re bad-asses, and we love them, as they helped a no-budget video for a super sad song become one of the best experiences of our lives.”
“Never Enough” will appear on JJAMZ’s debut album Suicide Pact, which will be in stores on July 10th.
