Jenny Lewis Plots More ‘Rabbit Fur Coat’ Dates With Watson Twins
Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins have announced another set of tour dates celebrating the 10th anniversary of Rabbit Fur Coat, Pitchfork reports.
The 10-date North American trek kicks off September 9th at the State Theatre in Minneapolis and wraps the 22nd at the Masonic in San Francisco. The tour will also include stops in Chicago, Toronto, Boston and Washington D.C. Ticket information is available on Lewis’ website, while a complete list of dates is below.
Lewis reissued Rabbit Fur Coat, her debut solo album, back in January via her own Love’s Way label. To mark the occasion, she reunited with the Watson Twins and M. Ward to perform the LP live, just like they did when Rabbit Fur Coat was released in 2006.
Lewis also has a variety of shows planned ahead of the next string of Rabbit Fur Coat dates, including a few in support of her 2014 album The Voyager, and several with her new trio NAF — an acronym for Nice As Fuck — featuring Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Forster and the Like’s Tennessee Thomas. NAF made their live debut at a Bernie Sanders benefit concert at the beginning of the month, and will open for M. Ward during his tour in May. And in August, Lewis will play a handful of shows, including sets at Salt Lake City’s Twilight Concert series and Bon Iver’s Eaux Claires Festival.
