Jay-Z’s New ‘Hits Collection Volume One’ Already Needs a Sequel

Jay-Z recently released The Hits Collection Volume One, which collects 14 of the rapper’s biggest songs — from “Big Pimpin'” to “Empire State of Mind.” But as Jody Rosen’s Rolling Stone review points out, the album barely scratches the surface of Jay-Z’s output. Here’s what we think the tracklist for The Hits Collection Volume Two should look like:
“Ain’t No Nigga”
“Can’t Knock the Hustle”
“Hola Hovito”
“Takeover”
“Can I Get A…”
“Dead Presidents”
“Streets is Watching”
“Money Ain’t a Thing”
“Girls, Girls, Girls”
“Dear Summer”
“It’s Hot (Some Like It Hot)”
“Ignorant Shit”
“December 4th”
“Anything”
“Brooklyn’s Finest”
“Reservoir Dogs”
“Encore”
“Heart of the City”
