NYC designer claims rapper, partners owe $7 million in royalties

A New York City designer has sued Jay-Z and his former label partners at Roc-A-Fella for $7 million in unpaid royalties, reports the Associated Press. Dwayne Walker claims the rapper and the label owe him the sum for creating the label's . The lawsuit states Walker made the logo in 1995 in the label's early days.

Jay-Z is set to open Brooklyn's new Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets, with three shows on September 28th-30th.
