Janet Jackson and Lady Antebellum Cancel Indiana State Fair Gigs

Janet Jackson and Lady Antebellum have canceled scheduled dates at the Indiana State Fair this week in the wake of the catastrophic stage collapse at the venue that killed five and injured dozens on Saturday. Jackson was set to perform tomorrow night, and Lady Antebellum was booked for Friday.
Maroon 5 and Train, who are scheduled for a double headlining bill on Thursday, have not dropped out, though their show will be held at another location to be announced sometime later today. Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine told Billboard yesterday that the band has some qualms about playing a show at the fair so soon after the tragedy, but they are working out the details of playing a benefit gig to support the families of the stage collapse victims.
