Jack White returned to the Colbert Report last night to play a heavy rendition of his new single “Freedom at 21” with his all-male band, Los Buzzardos. The song begins with a brief free-form jam that gives his ensemble a chance to show off a range of textures that set it apart from the minimalist rock of White’s previous bands.
