Inside Johnny Cash’s Collaborations

Columbia Records this fall released the sprawling box set Johnny Cash: The Complete Columbia Album Collection, packed with albums, live performances and plenty of rarities. In this clip, producer Gregg Geller covers Cash's long history of collaborations, starting in the Fifties with Sun Records labelmates Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis, continuing through his his duets with June Carter – their first being a cover of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe" – up to his country supergroup the Highwaymen, which found him playing alongside Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson.
