Howard Stern to Broadcast Two-Hour Black Keys Concert

A two-hour Black Keys concert, recorded earlier this year in Houston will air after “The Howard Stern Birthday Bash: Director’s Cut” on SiriusXM Howard 100 or 101 at 11:15 p.m. EST/8:15 p.m. PST on December 19th.
The Black Keys are also kicking off a charity raffle, with the winner receiving frontman Dan Auerbach’s childhood guitar, signed by both himself and drummer Patrick Carney. Along with the Supertone guitar – given to Auerbach by his father – the winner will receive an autographed copy of Guitar World with the Black Keys frontman on the cover.
Raffle tickets will be on sale from now through June 26th, 2015, and can be purchased only over the internet. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, which helps deliver food to those in need in the Black Keys’ home of Northeast Ohio.
Along with the upcoming concert special on SiriusXM, the Black Keys’ upcoming episode of Austin City Limits, which features J. Roddy Walston and the Business, is scheduled to air on PBS on January 31st. You can check out a preview clip of the band kicking out a taut, twisting rendition of “Fever.”
That track also recently earned the Black Keys’ two of their three Grammy nominations in the Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance categories. Their latest album, Turn Blue, was also nominated for Best Rock Album.
