Hear Zayn Malik’s Dreamy Ballad ‘It’s You’

Zayn Malik has debuted the studio version of his ballad “It’s You” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. The singer previously performed the song live on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon with help from the Roots.

The slow ballad showcases Malik’s falsetto above dreamy, ambient synth. “Tell me your lies/Because I just can’t face it,” he sings on the track’s refrain before repeating the title on the chorus.

Following the premiere, he announced on Twitter that he would be releasing the accompanying video for the song as well as the pre-order for his debut solo album Mind of Mine. Malik also shared a 16-second clip of the black-and-white video that shows a blonde woman walking towards a convertible.

Mind of Mine will be released on March 25th, the one-year anniversary of Malik leaving boy band One Direction. His first single, “Pillowtalk,” debuted at Number One on the Hot 100.
