On Thursday, Troye Sivan updated his song "Wild" with impressive new vocals from pop singer Alessia Cara.

The song, a bubble of soft rock dusted with modern drum programming, came out in 2015. Now the love-obsessed track has a spot for Cara, who adds a melismatic second verse: "We're alike, you and I/ Two blue hearts locked in our wrong minds," she sings.  

Sivan wrote "Wild" with Alex Hope, who is also credited as a producer on the track. The song originally came out on Sivan's Wild EP. It reappeared on his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood, last December. 

The singer/model Hailee Steinfeld quickly endorsed the new version of the single. "You guys, it's so good I could cry," she wrote on Twitter.
