Hear the Lox, Rick Ross’ Gritty New Song ‘Feel My Pain’

Yonkers trio the Lox have teamed with Rick Ross for their new track “Feel My Pain,” the latest offering from Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss.
The grinding “Feel My Pain” features all four MCs illustrating their paths from troubled youth to hip-hop royalty. “Came from the streets with the dealers and the fiends/ Couple people thought I wouldn’t outlive my teens,” Styles P sings. Jadakiss adds: “We all come from the block/ Now we sippin’ rum punch on the yacht.”
“Feel My Pain” is the second new Lox track in as many weeks, following the trio’s “What Happens?” a song that examines police brutality in America. Both tracks are rumored to be destined for Lox’s forthcoming LP We Are the Streets 2, the follow-up to 2000’s We Are the Streets.
As XXL notes, Styles P’s Instagram has shown the Lox in the studio with a barrage of heavyweight producers, including Timbaland, DJ Premier and Just Blaze. The trio is continuing work on their first album in 16 years. No release date has been announced for the LP.
The Lox will also be on hand when Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour kicks off August 25th in Columbus, Ohio.
