A new version of Kanye West‘s “All Day” — a supposed single that leaked last year — has surfaced, Stereogum points out. The track is far from an official release and the sound quality, while slightly better than the initial leak, will still make any audiophile cringe.

Nevertheless, the track is vintage Yeezy: Torrents of braggadocio over spitfire hi-hats, rumbling bass and a monk-ish vocal sample that would’ve fit in on Yeezus. This new rendition of “All Day” also features rising Houston rapper, and G.O.O.D. Music signee, Travi$ Scott, who pops up at the end as the production takes a heady, syrup-y turn.

West initially teased “All Day” last July, saying he hoped to release the song as a single by mid-August, though he either scrapped the plan entirely or was deterred by the initial leak. In an interview with GQ, West said he was channeling Jay Z’s lyrical style on “All Day,” perhaps as a response to the reaction of the abrasive Yeezus.

“[T]he balance of a meal is that when people walk in, they want water first,” West said. “People definitely weren’t getting water first on Yeezus. I do fight with myself to say, ‘Keep fighting.’ But also, you know, you can’t win every single fight. It’s a long war, and if you’re out there trying to, like, blow up every single building, you won’t win the war.”

While “All Day” has yet to see official release, West hasn’t disappointed fans with new music: He recently offered up two high-profile collaborations with Paul McCartney, the poignant “Only One” and Rihanna’s “FourFiveSeconds.” While the latter marks the first off the pop star’s forthcoming record, it’s unclear whether “Only One” will be included on West’s next LP.
