More than eight years after releasing their most recent LP, 2006’s Flat-Pack PhilosophyBuzzcocks are finally ready for its follow-up, The Way, to hit stores. Recorded by a lineup that includes original members Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle and newer hires Chris Remington and Danny Farrant, the album was advanced to fans who helped crowdfund it earlier in the year, and on November 18th, it becomes available to the greater public.

Released mid-September, the record’s lead single, “It’s Not You,” was riff-driven track with cute, pop harmonies. “Keep on Believing,” meanwhile, is vintage punk jam befitting a group who played their first gig opening for the Sex Pistols. Coming in at just under three minutes, the track features energetic drumming, a nice guitar solo and endearingly positive lyrics like “What’s the use complaining that it’s forever raining?/After all that’s what they make umbrellas for.”

Listen to the track below, and come November 18th, find The Way via 1234 Go! Records.
