Hear Betty Who’s Pulsing New Single ‘Runaways’

Thanks to the success of her two EPs, 2013’s The Movement and April’s Slow Dancing, rising Australian pop singer Betty Who will soon be releasing her first full album, a 12-song collection titled Take Me When You Go. Listen to her M83-meets-Katy Perry dance tune “Runaways,” the first song on off Take Me that wasn’t released on either of those early EPs.
“‘Runaways’ has been the song that embodies the part of me that wants to get in a Buick and drive down the coast of Mexico and not tell a single person,” the singer tells Rolling Stone. “There have been many times in my life over the past year where I’ve wanted to disappear. This song is about finding the person to do that with.”
Appropriately, Betty Who will be joining Perry for the Australian leg of her Prism world tour. Take Me When You Go will be released October 7th on RCA and can be pre-ordered here.
