Hear Alessia Cara, G-Eazy’s Confident ‘Wild Things (Remix)’

Alessia Cara has released a remix to “Wild Things” featuring G-Eazy. The original song hails from her November debut album, Know-it-All.
On the Maurice Sendak-inspired track, the Canadian singer-songwriter confidently sings that she won’t “hang around the in-crowd/The cool kids aren’t cool to me.” On the chorus she declares, “Find me where the wild things are.”
“So don’t get it mixed up / it’s been my story / it’s never switched up / And I never kissed up,” G-Eazy raps on the remix, asserting his equally self-assured wild things ways with the “Here” singer.
As Rap-Up notes, Cara recently released a “Wild Things (Nukid Remix)” on iTunes. The singer is planning a sequel to Here (The Remixes), which was released last month and featured collaborations with Logic and Jaden Smith, and these recent remixes will likely be found on the forthcoming Wild Things (The Remixes) EP.
The self-described shy kid began to break out of her shell following her signing to Def Jam last year. “I posted something on Instagram to tell everyone why I’d been disappearing from school all that time,” she told Rolling Stone. “I got so many texts like, ‘How come you didn’t tell us?!’ They thought I was just skipping school.”
The singer recently made Rolling Stone‘s “30 Best Things We Saw at Coachella: 2016” list.
