Haim Map Summer Tour, Promise New Music
Haim have unveiled the opening wave of tour dates for the sister rock trio’s summer tour. The first leg of the trek kicks off May 17th at Santa Ana, California’s the Observatory and works its way eastward, mixing both headlining shows and festival stops at Bonnaroo, Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, Osheaga and more. Haim have also promised to debut tracks off their upcoming album during their summer gigs.
“We’ve just been in the studio so long, perfecting and trying to get it right. At this point we just want to go out there and play the songs live,” the band said in an Instagram post Tuesday that teased new music and the tour. The group is currently in a Los Angeles studio “finalizing” the follow-up to their 2013 breakout debut Days Are Gone, the band added. Haim spent a portion of 2015 serving as Taylor Swift’s opening act on the 1989 Tour.
A fan pre-sale takes place starting March 30th at Songkick, with a general on-sale to follow April 1st.
