Glen Campbell May Add More Dates to Farewell Tour

Glen Campbell is considering adding more dates to his farewell tour, the Associated Press reports.
The 76-year-old country music star, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease last year, has been touring the country in support of his final album, Ghost on the Canvas. He played more than 120 shows in 2012, but canceled a tour with Kenny Rogers through Australian and New Zealand over the summer for health reasons.

After Campbell played his final show for the year in Napa, California on Friday night, his longtime manager Stan Schneider said that singer’s recent shows have been among his best. If Campbell feels strong enough after taking a break for the holidays, Schneider said, he will begin to schedule more dates to continue the tour into 2013.
