Texas blues guitarist and singer Gary Clark Jr. will join the Rolling Stones Wednesday night at Boston's TD Garden. The band made the announcement this afternoon on Twitter, making Clark the latest in a string of guests who have included Arcade Fire singer Win Butler Sunday in Montreal, Taylor Swift last week in Chicago, Tom Waits last month in Oakland and Dave Grohl in Anaheim, California.

It will be Clark's third time playing with the Stones. He joined the band on Freddie King's "Going Down" last December at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Later  that month, he and John Mayer sat in on the same song at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Clark backed up Mick Jagger – as well as B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Jeff Beck – in February 2012 at the the Red, White and Blues concert at the White House.
