Gameface Live for the Moment in ‘Come on Down’ – Song Premiere

Gameface are officially back in action. The pop-punk heroes reunited last year for a string of concerts, and now they’ve signed to Equal Vision Records, who will release their new digital single, the spunky “Come on Down,” on November 5th.

“Stop living in your head,” sings frontman Jeff Caudill on the infectious track, backed by hummable harmonies and crunching guitar riffs. “Come on Down” is the band’s first new music since their 2003 LP, Four to Go, and it is a very personal recording, as Caudill tells Rolling Stone.
“I was going through a rough time last year. My father was battling lung cancer, and I always turn to music when things get tough,” Caudill says. “I had this melody bouncing around my head for weeks, and one morning, I woke up with the first verse of this song. At the time, I didn’t think Gameface was going to write new material but ‘Come On Down’ turned out to be worth sharing. The song is a reminder that it’s never too late to be the person that you want to be. Let go of regret and stop wasting time. We don’t get much.”
Gameface are currently working on their sixth LP, which is tenatively planned for early 2014 release.
