Game Arrested at Signing

Rapper charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest

The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, was arrested on Friday during an autograph signing at a Greensboro, North Carolina, mall, accused of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police claimed that the West coast gangsta rapper, 25, and his associates behaved disruptively and were swearing while signing autographs at the Four Seasons Town Centre mall. Authorities also used pepper spray on the rapper's crew, who they maintained had surrounded them in a threatening manner.

"I got arrested for signing autographs," the rapper later told WFMY-TV. "They thought I was Rodney King."

The Game, whose first album The Documentary sold more than half a million copies in its debut week in January, was released that day on $500 bail.
