G. Love has written an original track, "Christmas Blues," instead of covering a more traditional holiday tune. "There isn't a holiday I enjoy more than Christmas," he says. "While the standards are standards, there's nothing more special than creating something new in the holiday spirit."
The clip for "Christmas Blues" is a simple, black-and-white video, intended on echoing the emotion of the song. "We wanted the video to capture a raw blues vibe," G. Love says. "We shot this in a couple takes, and I think we accomplished our goal."
