In the music video for their collaborative single “I Won,” Future and Kanye West serenade a slew of curvaceous models striking sexy poses on a private beach. The black-and-white clip, directed by longtime West collaborator Hype Williams, leaves little to the imagination.
Future takes command in the track’s first half, delivering romantic and sexual lines through a massive layer of auto-tune. “I just want to take you out and show you off,” he croons over minimal strings, a clattering snare and muffled vocal coos. “Girl, when I’m with you, I feel like a champion / Ever since I got with you, I feel like I done won me a trophy.” (The emotive hook recalls West’s 808s and Heartbreak cut “Heartless.”)
West, as he tends to do, steals the show with his verse, promising the models (including one that looks quite a bit like Kim Kardashian) that he wants to “dip that ass in gold.” Another excellent line: “Baby, we should hit the south of France / so you could run around without them pants.”
The track is part of Future’s upcoming second LP, Honest, which drops April 22nd on Epic Records.
