Future Performs ’31 Days,’ Salutes Mac Miller on ‘Fallon’
Future performed his triplet-heavy track “31 Days” on Tuesday’s Tonight Show. The rapper, his face aglow with purple light, shouted out late emcee Mac Miller at the top of the auto-tuned song.
The trap-leaning “31 Days” appears on Future’s recent mixtape Beast Mode 2, a collaboration with producer Zaytoven. The release, which came out in July, debuted at Number Three on the Billboard 200.
Future has continued at a prolific pace in recent months: releasing new songs “Scammalot” and “Translator,” curating the Superly soundtrack and issuing videos for “Wifi Lit” and “Trippple Cross” (a collaboration with Young Scooter and Young Thug). In 2017, he released a pair of Number One LPs, Future and Hndrxx.
The rapper was scheduled to appear with Nicki Minaj on a joint North American tour, though most of the dates have been postponed to 2019 – without Future – due to production issues. The two artists will still unite for a European leg that kicks off February 21st in Munich, Germany, and Future has additional stand-alone shows booked for this fall.
