Fiona Apple to Star in French Superhero Show, ‘H-Man’
Never one to back down from doing what’s right, Fiona Apple will take her heroic ways to the screen when she appears in H-Man, an upcoming French TV series about superheroes, Consequence of Sound reports. The show comes courtesy of director Joseph Cahill, who was behind the striking video for “Every Single Night,” off Apple’s last studio album, The Idler Wheel…
You can take a peak at the hyper-stylized show in the teaser above, which features a quick shot of Apple as BioFrau, the leader of the activist group Feux Verts (“Green Lights”), using her glowing green eyes to wreak havoc on, we assume, her enemies (or something along those lines – it’s admittedly a bit hard to tell what’s happening).
According to the show’s website, Apple appears in episode six, in which BioFrau is held hostage at a German nuclear power plant, and H-Man and his German counterpart, Valkyrie, must team up to save her and keep France and Germany from running out of energy.

The series will run for 10 episodes, each five minutes long, starting March 8th.
