Feed Me Scales the ‘Lonely Mountain’ – Song Premiere

Feed Me’s Jon Gooch takes listeners on an EDM odyssey in his new song “Lonely Mountain.” The track spans more than five minutes, and is divided into four movements that boast heavy synths and dramatic bass.

Gooch says the song took a few years to develop because of the many ideas he wanted to incorporate. “To me, it’s the track that defines what I’ve been trying to do in one go the most accurately,” he tells Rolling Stone. “Maybe one day, I’ll beat it and collapse in on myself like a tiny black hole or something.” 

“Lonely Mountain” is on Feed Me’s debut album, Calamari Tuesday, which is set for release on October 14th. The album is available for pre-order here.
