With his new two-CD live set, Peter Gabriel ditches rock guitars and drums for massive arrangements alongside the 46-piece New Blood Orchestra. Live Blood reimagines beloved Gabriel songs like “In Your Eyes,” “Rhythm of the Heart,” and “Biko” into grandiose orchestrations, building on Gabriel’s powerful voice for an expansive sound.
Recorded at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on March 23rd of last year, Live Blood redresses favorites for a refreshing perspective on Gabriel. The arrangements offer a new diversity for the former Genesis frontman as he takes full advantage of the New Blood Orchestra’s wide sonic array. Live Blood arrives April 24th on Eagle Rock Entertainment.
