Eminem Embraces ‘Survival’ Instincts

Rapper leads a team of masked bandits through Detroit in new clip

Eminem continues his comeback tear with a new clip for "Survival," the blistering track produced by DJ Khalil and featuring Liz Rodrigues that initially appeared as part of the video game Call of Duty: Ghosts. With clips of the video game playing in the background of a dilapidated factory, Em spits some classically vigorous, vicious lines that are as hilarious as they are chilling. Meanwhile, the MC leads a crew of masked bandits through the empty streets of Detroit, tagging his hometown's myriad abandoned buildings before projecting a skull over the city's skyline.

Where Does Eminem Rank on Our 100 Greatest Artists List?

Though a track list hasn't been confirmed yet, it looks like "Survial" may also appear on Eminem's eighth record, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, out November 5th; you can check out the video for the first single, "Berzerk," which was one of a handful of album cuts produced by Rick Rubin.
