Eazy-E Slapped With Posthumous Lawsuit

Veteran personal manager Gerald E.
Heller is suing the estate of the late rapper
Eazy-E (Eric Wright), Ruthless Records, and estate
co-executors Ronald Sweeney and Tomica
Woods-Wright for alleged unpaid management fees. The suit,
filed June 6 in Los Angeles Superior Court, states that Heller has
not been paid in accordance with the oral agreement established in
1987 between Wright and Heller for deals negotiated by Heller on
behalf of Wright and Ruthless Records, later incorporated as
Comptown Records Inc. The suit seeks damages of at
least $10 million, a reimbursement of legal fees, and a full
accounting of all funds collected by the defendants.
