Drake, the Strokes, Alt-J, Chromeo and Ben Howard will help christen the new Landmark Music Festival, set to take place at West Potomac Park, adjacent to the National Mall, in Washington D.C., on September 26th and 27th.

The new two-day festival will boast over 40 artists performing on five stages including Band of Horses, Chvrches, the War on Drugs, the Kills, Albert Hammond Jr., fun.’s Nate Ruess, George Ezra, Daughter, Hiss Golden Messenger, Twin Shadow, Dr. John and the Nite Trippers, Lord Huron, the Lone Bellow, the Joy Formidable, Houndmouth and Rhiannon Giddens. Landmark will also showcase local talent, tapping D.C.-area artists such as Wale, Dan Deacon, Ex Hex, U.S. Royalty, Vandaveer and more. A full lineup can be seen on the Landmark website.

A limited number of two-day passes are available now through Wednesday morning for $100. Early bird passes will go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on Wednesday, April 29th for $150; VIP, Platinum and Travel packages will also be available. Children under 10 will also be admitted to the festival for free if accompanied by a ticketed adult.

In the next few weeks, organizers will hold a public lottery for fans to win free tickets and announce details of a special event in D.C. that will be open to the public for free.

The Landmark Music Festival is being held in partnership with the Trust for the National Mall, and, along with other events and promotions, will help raise funds and awareness for the beloved D.C. park. Per a press release, the National Mall’s infrastructure, ecology and even landmarks — including the Thomas Jefferson Memorial — have deteriorated due to deferred maintenance, while the park has not been properly renovated in 40 years.

“The Mall holds some of America’s most iconic moments,” Washington D.C. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton said in a statement. “I am excited to see world-renowned artists coming to perform on the Mall to help preserve one of America’s most important parks and all that it represents.”
