Drake Premieres New Single ‘Hold on We’re Going Home’
Disco-infused sounds command the smooth new song
Drake channels Marvin Gaye in his new song “Hold on We’re Going Home,” which he posted online today following a performance at last night’s Ovo Fest. The track features smooth vocals and hints of disco as he sings “I want your hot love and emotion, endlessly.” The tender song is set to appear on Drake’s new album, Nothing Was the Same, due out September 17th.

The song is the latest in a string of songs Drake has released online in recent months. The Canadian singer and rapper posted “Started From the Bottom” in February, and has since released more tracks: “On My Way” came in June, followed a few days later by four other songs. Drake posted another new tune, “All Me,” last week.
