DJ Khaled Reveals Personal Philosophy for Success in New Book

Hip-hop producer and Snapchat star DJ Khaled reveals his personal philosophy for success in upcoming book The Keys, out November 22nd. Barnes & Noble teased the title including “stories from his own life as he breaks down all of the major keys” – a reference to his recently released ninth LP Major Key.
“The Keys will share DJ Khaled’s major keys to success, from ‘Be honest but don’t play yourself’ to ‘Don’t drive your Jet Ski in the dark, which he’ll illustrate with stories from his own experiences,” said the publisher. “He’ll also break down the philosophy behind his trending catchphrases, including ‘another one,’ ‘secure the bag,’ ‘special cloth alert,’ ‘bless up’ and more. ‘Mogul Talk’ sidebars will feature insight from his famous friends.”
Major Key became Khaled’s first Number One album, dethroning Drake’s Views from the top of the Billboard 200. The guest-packed LP features appearances from Future, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Jay Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Jeremiah, Lil Wayne, Meghan Trainor, Wiz Khalifa and Wale, among others.
DJ Khaled recently released a Caribbean-set, nine-minute video for Nas collaboration “Nas Album Done.”
