Dizzy Wright is going through something and he puts it all on display on “Killem Wit Kindness.” He recently released the music video.

On the song that rides over that easy, Judy Clay and William Bell soul sample Rappin 4 Tay used on “Player’s Club,” the 22-year-old Las Vegas MC rhymes about the pressures of newfound fatherhood, maturing, pondering the future with his girl, giving back to his mother, and trying to be there for his homies.

“Killem Wit Kindness,” produced by AF $upreme, is his reminder to self on how to stay focused.

Dizzy Wright Talks Covering Nas, Bone Thug And Tupac

The 2013 XXL Freshman cover artist credits his daughter, in part, for changing his outlook on life, saying, “Became a daddy and started watching my behavior.” (The adorable, Xhaiden makes a few cameos in the vid.)

Maturing hasn’t been the easiest transition. He admits to sometimes questioning his decisions, rapping, “A good heart, but what if I’m out here fighting for the wrong things.”

His desire to do better prevails. He raps, “I’m just focused on the better me” and “what makes me come alive.”

Though he often feels like “life is testing” him, he’s learned to dust the dirt off his shoulders.

“So when they talk and it’s negative or its false, we channel out the negative thoughts without any help,” he raps.
