Prince canceled a performance at a charity concert for the Goss-Michael Foundation in Dallas scheduled for this Friday. He has not offered an explanation for why he bailed on the fundraising show, which would have also featured a set by Erykah Badu. [Billboard]
The RZA Files Order Against the Game
The RZA has filed a cease and desist order against the Game for including “Heartbreaker,” a track he produced for the Game’s forthcoming record The R.E.D. Album, on the free mixtape Purp and Patron. The song had been shelved when it took too long to clear its Grand Funk Railroad sample to make an earlier deadline for The R.E.D. Album‘s long-delayed release. [MTV]
Sasquatch Festival Line-Up is Announced
Foo Fighters, Death Cab For Cutie, Modest Mouse, the Decemberists, Bright Eyes, the Flaming Lips and Wilco will be featured at the 10th annual Sasquatch Festival at the Gorge, Washington on Memorial Day weekend.
