LCD Soundsystem Sell Out Four More Farewell Shows in NYC
LCD Soundsystem sold out four nights at Manhattan’s Terminal 5 in less than an hour this morning. The concerts were added following a fiasco in which scalpers bought a majority of the tickets for the band’s career-finale performance at Madison Square Garden on April 2nd. The band took several measures to make sure fans had a fair shot at scoring tickets this time around, including doing away with paper tickets altogether. [Spinner]
Dave Matthews Band to Host Four Music Festivals
The Dave Matthews Band have announced that they will host four three-day music festivals across the U.S. this summer. The festivals will include several artists performing on multiple stages, with Dave Matthews Band headlining each night. The band has yet to announce specific locations for the events, but have confirmed that the first will be in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region on June 24-26th and the second will be somewhere in the Midwest on July 8th-10th. New Morrissey Compilation on the Way
A new compilation of Morrissey solo material titled The Very Best of Morrissey will hit stores on April 25th in the U.K. The set will be notable for including a previously unreleased version of “Interlude” that does not feature Siouxsie Sioux, who duetted with the singer on the original recording. TV on the Radio Announce Tour Dates
TV on the Radio have announced the dates of a spring tour in support of their upcoming album Nine Types of Light. As of yet, the band have confirmed 11 dates mainly in the Northeast, though one West Coast date is scheduled in San Diego on May 2nd. [Pitchfork]

The Black Keys clearly have no desire to take a rest after winning two Grammys for their sleeper hit album Brothers. The duo have announced a new summer tour with support band Cage the Elephant that will mainly focus on dates in Canada and the American Midwest. [Pitchfork]
