Jennifer Hudson Announces New Album
Jennifer Hudson will release her second album I Remember Me on March 22nd. The record will feature collaborations with R&B heavyweights such as Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Ne-Yo and R. Kelly, who wrote the lead single “Where You At.” [Jennifer Hudson]

Sonic Youth Share Mixtape
Sonic Youth have put a streaming mixtape on their official website. The mix includes music from their soundtrack to the French film Simon Werner a Disparu as well as demos and the acoustic version of the Evol track “Star Power” that the group performed on a recent episode of Gossip Girl. Sebadoh Plan Reissue and Reunion Tour
Nineties indie rockers Sebadoh have announced that their commercial breakthrough, the 1994 album Bakesale, will be reissued by Domino Records in April. The album, which was originally released by Sub Pop, will be remastered and expanded to include non-album tracks and rarities from the period. The group will go out on tour in February to play shows focusing on material from that record and its 1996 follow-up, Harmacy. [Pitchfork]

‘Paul’s Boutique’ Storefront Burns Down
The storefront on the cover of the Beastie Boys‘ classic album Paul’s Boutique was destroyed in a fire last night. The storefront on 99 Rivington Street in Manhattan has gone through several incarnations since it was immortalized on the Beasties sleeve — until yesterday, it housed a bar and restaurant called Three Monkeys.
