Demi Lovato will headline a charity concert benefiting Musicians on Call, which brings live and recorded music to patients in hospitals around the country. The show will also honor one of the nonprofit’s longtime supporters, syndicated morning radio DJ Elvis Duran.
Along with Lovato, Musicians On Call Presents: A Night To Celebrate Elvis Duran will also feature a performance from up-and-coming British singer, Leon Else. Additional performers and presenters are expected to be announced. The concert will be held March 21st at New York City’s Edison Ballroom.
Duran will receive MOC’s Leadership in Music “Golden Ukulele” award. “I’ve been following the work of Musicians on Call for almost a decade and have been a huge fan of all their contributions,” Duran said. “Having them partner with some of the industry’s most talented artists to play for those who are down on their luck is truly a gift.”
Tickets for A Night To Celebrate Elvis Duran are available now via the Musicians on Call website. Fans can also bid on a chance to meet Lovato and Duran and walk the red carpet at the event on CharityBuzz. Past supporters of MOC include Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson and Pharrell.
