Dawes ‘Time Spent in Los Angeles’ on Letterman

Californian rockers perform ‘Time Spent in Los Angeles’

Californian rockers Dawes turned up on Late Show with David Letterman last night to perform “Time Spent in Los Angeles,” a number from the band’s second album Nothing Is Wrong. After the band wrapped up the song, which has an easygoing West Coast Seventies rock vibe, Letterman and his band leader Paul Shaffer declared themselves to be big Dawes fans. “I was talking to the guys backstage and I said, ‘Are you alright?’ and they said ‘Nothing is wrong,'” Letterman quipped.
